Where can I find IELTS classes near me?
Mafit runs physical IELTS classes at three centres: Ikeja in Lagos, Central Area in Abuja and Stadium Road in Port Harcourt. If you live anywhere else in Nigeria, you can join the same classes live online and replay every session in your account.
How long are the IELTS classes?
The physical classes run for 6 to 10 weeks. Your online study account stays open alongside them, so you can keep practising between sessions and after the course ends.
How much do IELTS classes cost?
You can join Prep Only for ₦70,000 and start classes before choosing a test date. If you register for IELTS through Mafit, the classes are free: registration is ₦299,000, or ₦279,000 with code MAFIT, and includes classes, a mock CBT, a one on one tutor and the online account.
Can I take IELTS classes without registering for the test?
Yes. Prep Only lets you start classes at any time without booking a test date. When you are ready to sit the exam, you can move to full registration.
Are online IELTS classes as good as physical classes?
They cover the same lessons with the same instructors, and every session is recorded so you can replay it. Many candidates outside Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt prepare fully online. Physical classes suit people who study better in a room with a teacher and other candidates.
Do the classes cover Academic, General Training and UKVI?
Yes. The classes cover IELTS Academic and General Training, and candidates sitting IELTS for UKVI follow the same skills training. Your instructor adjusts the Writing practice to the module you are taking.
Is there a mock test?
Yes. Full registration includes a free computer based mock exam under real conditions, marked and returned to you, plus up to five full practice tests a week in your online account.
